When Dr. Lauren and Jessica arrive at your Peoria home, we will first spend time talking with you and getting to know your pet.

3. A Peaceful Goodbye

Once your pet is completely relaxed and your family is ready, Dr. Lauren will administer the final medication.

We will guide you through the process gently and give your family the time and privacy you need.

4. Aftercare

After your goodbye, Roadrunner Relief can respectfully transport your pet and coordinate the aftercare option you have selected.

Fire Cremation & Water Cremation Options

Every family has different wishes for their pet's aftercare. Roadrunner Relief is proud to provide families with a choice between traditional fire cremation and water cremation, also known as aquamation.

Traditional cremation uses heat to respectfully care for your pet's remains.

Private cremation options allow your pet's ashes to be returned home to your family, or your pets remains can be respectfully spread on your behalf.

💧 Water Cremation / Aquamation

Aquamation uses water, gentle temperature, and an alkaline solution instead of flame.

Families who choose private aquamation can also have their pet's remains returned home, or your pets remains can be respectfully spread on your behalf.

There is no universally "right" choice. We are happy to explain both options so you can choose what feels most appropriate for your family and your pet.

Depending on the aftercare option selected, memorial options may include items such as:
